Endowments
An Endowment is a long-term savings plan that provides capital at the maturity date or on the policyholder's earlier death. A unique charateristic of the With Profit Endowment is the minimum guaranteed sum assured payable on death.
Under a With Profits policy, the guaranteed sum assured is increased by bonuses, representing a share of the investment profits of the With Profits fund. Thus, at the maturity date or earlier death, the policyholder will receive the benefit of reversionary and, possibly, terminal bonuses in addition to the guaranteed sum assured.
Endowments have received plenty of press and are under review. We will gladly review your Edowment for you, if you are concerned over maturity values.
